The Way You Are - Norah Request

Title: The Way You Are
Game: Final Fantasy XIII-2
Characters: Mog, Serah, Noel
Pairings: Noel/Serah

"Kupo~" Mog squealed as he twirled through the yellowish glow followed by Serah and Noel.

"Where are we?" Serah asked glancing around as her feet gently touched the ground.

"No place I know of," Noel announced, stretching his arms out and yawning.

"I know we're lost, kupo," Mog stated.

"Great," Noel groaned, sitting down on a nearby "rock" and shaking his head.

"Well…we could use a rest," Serah said, trying to stay positive.

"Guess so," the brunette sighed, poking Mog in the stomach.

"Hey! That's my tummy, kupo! Don't poke the moogle!" Mog retorted, rubbing his tummy and whining.  Serah scooped him up into her arms and he giggled lightly.

"Here," Serah offered, letting go of Mog and holding out a bit of food for her companion.

"Thanks," Noel whispered, looking at the small portion of food he had and nibbling it thoughtfully.

As they sat and ate did Serah think about all she had been through so far. It was a terrifying thought and a single question nagged her relentlessly: Would she ever be the same after all that had happened to her? Noel seemed to notice her sudden distant behavior and blinked a few times. "You alright?" he asked, gently resting a hand on her shoulder.

She was startled from her day dream and let out a faint gasp. "O-oh…yeah, just thinking…"

Noel wasn't convinced. "…about?" he inquired.

"…What life will be like…when I go back to Bodhum?" she stammered.

"What do you mean?" Noel said, brining his eyebrows together.

"I wonder…if I'll ever be the same after this…" she looked down at her hands, unable to meet his gaze.

"I…wouldn't worry," he said, putting his arm around her and brining the pretty pink haired girl closer. "I like you the way you are now…and I'm sure I'll like you any other way as well,"

Serah smiled up at him and slowly nodded. "Thank you, Noel."

He pecked her gently on the forehead and nodded. "You're welcome."
